Botanical Garden of the Year – Austin 2025
Zilker Botanical Garden is nestled within Zilker Metropolitan Park in the heart of downtown Austin. Our themed gardens, including the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, Hartman Prehistoric Garden, and Rose Garden, are all interconnected with pathways for all ages and abilities. With heritage live oaks, streams, and Koi-filled ponds, the Garden offers a peaceful respite in the middle of our busy city. The mission of the Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy is to cultivate community and foster lifelong learning that inspires an appreciation of the botanical world.
