Colchester Zoological Society (CZS) is the number 1 conservation zoo in the Eastern region of the UK! CZS is home to over 150 beautiful, unusual, and rare species of the animal kingdom. Set within 60 acres of parkland and lakes, CZS hosts a wide variety of habitats, from the humid home of the Komodo dragons to the African plain, Kingdom of the Wild, home to white rhino, giraffes, ostrich, zebra and kudu. Not only does a visit to CZS provide a full day of entertainment and raises awareness of the wonders of wildlife, it also supports their conservation mission. CZS is visited by over 1million people annually and has a family of 70,000 Zoo Passholders, resulting in over £4.7 million raised for conservation projects worldwide helping to care for wildlife and wild places.
