Singapore’s Changi Airport has once again secured its place at the pinnacle of global aviation, reclaiming the title of World’s Best Airport for 2025. The accolade, awarded by the Skytrax World Airport Awards, marks the 13th time Changi has earned the top honor—further reinforcing its reputation as a benchmark for airport excellence worldwide.
The awards were presented at a ceremony in Madrid on April 9, following a global customer satisfaction survey conducted from August 2024 to February 2025. The results reflect feedback from travelers across more than 100 nationalities, covering 575 airports worldwide. In addition to the overall title, Changi also won awards for World’s Best Airport Dining, World’s Best Airport Washrooms, and Best Airport in Asia—testaments to its high standards across every aspect of the passenger journey.
Changi Airport Group CEO Yam Kum Weng welcomed the recognition with gratitude, noting that the awards highlight the dedication of the entire airport community to delivering service excellence. He emphasized that such recognition serves as motivation to continually enhance the airport experience for millions of passengers passing through its terminals each year.
The Skytrax survey evaluates a wide range of factors that impact the traveler experience, from check-in and security to shopping, dining, and overall terminal design. Changi’s seamless operations, lush gardens, iconic attractions like the Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi, and a consistently strong service culture have helped it maintain a firm hold on global traveler satisfaction.
After briefly losing the top spot in 2021 and 2024, Changi’s return to the number one ranking is a strong signal of its resilience and forward-thinking approach in the post-pandemic travel era. With ongoing upgrades and a commitment to sustainability and digital innovation, the airport continues to set the global standard for what a modern air hub can be.
Changi’s win isn’t just about operational efficiency—it’s about reimagining what it means to travel, combining functionality with a uniquely Singaporean sense of hospitality and design.
